The Police Athletic League whose National Headquarters are minutes away in Jupiter, Florida exists to keep youths involved in activities to prevent juvenile crime.  PAL hopes to create a trust and understanding between police officers and youth.  PAL hopes to work with young people to help them develop strong positive attitudes during their adolescence.  PAL does a great deal of work through inner city youth sports.  They provide funding opportunities, liability programs, and programming opportunities.  It is in these areas that the Pumas plan to develop their relationship with PAL.  Over 350 chapters of PAL exist and they help to serve the more than 2 million youth between ages 5 and 18.
